I am so glad you stopped by the blog today. I started the blog in May 2015 and till date, there are roughly about 200+ posts on this blog. If you’re new here and are wondering where and how to start…then this blog guide is going to help you navigate through the blog.
In short, in this blog I focus on all things weddings, to travel, as well as budget shopping but you can pretty much find your way around by starting with the following.
This is the core theme of the blog. Here, you will see posts on budget-friendly options for venue, invitations, MUA, photographer and anything and everything that comes within the radar of weddings.
I got married in December 2015, and the blog basically started because of this. I felt I was the only bride who was planning her wedding on a shoe-string budget. The blog is my diary where I document all the ‘lesser known gems‘ of the wedding industry.
I have talked about my wedding vendors, and occasionally I review other budget wedding vendors as well. You will find this section extremely useful if you want to hire the best at the least possible cost.
I got the idea of this blog when I started writing about my engagement. My engagement ceremony took place in a beautiful setting overlooking the gorgeous powai lake in Mumbai. I hired professionals (photographer, venue, mehendi, invitations) who after ca razy amount of research I found were the best at the least budget available.
These engagement posts are useful because you will know in this crazy expensive wedding business, there are still some gems out there. You just have to hunt for them, and that’s exactly what I am here to help you with.
Every wedding is special, and so was mine. This is a recently started series where I give you’ll the day to day happenings of my wedding which went on for a good half month ! Seriously…one wedding, three destinations…you cannot miss this !
The most popular of the posts are in this section. If you’re someone looking for a bridal lehenga, want to know where to shop for them, at what price range, wedding guest looks etc and much more…then take a good amount of time out to browse through this section. You won’t be disappointed.
Over the past year I have covered a lot of wedding exhibitions, in Mumbai as well as in Delhi. If you are looking for something different, unusual then you must check out these posts and take notes. Some of these designers and stalls are really worth noting and following up with. You might just get yourself a gem of a piece at a crazy awesome deal !
If you still want to read on, then the best and easiest way to navigate through the blog is to click on categories which is on the right side of the blog page…you will find all the blog posts neatly stacked under titles like Photography, Sale Alerts, Travel Diaries etc etc.
I hope you enjoy spending time on the blog. I would love to hear from you. So do write in below in the comments section or you could also get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org
