Bollywood Celebrity Diwali Looks

Its that time of the year again. Weddings, festivities and a whole lot of Indian dressing. With so many celebrity weddings happening coming up, Frugal2Fab is going to be all about the glitz and glamour avatars of celebs this month. Starting with Bollywood Celebrity Diwali Looks.

There have been quite a few Diwali parties happening in B Town last week, and the who is who of Bollywood attended these parties dressed in their best. This post includes all the desi avatars of Bollywood celebs spotted in the last week.

Favourite Bollywood Celebrity Diwali Looks

Virat Kohli in Antar Agni

It’s rare that I look at the decor more than the celebrity in question. Virushka posted these amazing Diwali pictures yesterday, and I can’t stop ogling at that gorgeous lighting they have going on in their house. Anushka wore a plain brown saree, but teamed it up with statement jewellery. I am not entirely sure which designer saree that is. So will update it once I find out.

Lime Lehenga – Anushree Reddy

Remember the showstopper look from Anushree Reddy’s 2018 LFW collection? Malaika Arora had worn the same lehenga back then, and this time around, Kriti Sanon wore the same one for the Diwali festivities. Who do you think wore it better?

Saree by Soniya Chandola

While lehengas are pretty usual to see on celebrities, my eyes are always looking for those statement saree looks. A. They are easy to recreate, just like this one worn by Nimrat. B. They look so effortless if done right. C. You can always figure out an inexpensive version. This pretty blue saree lights up all thanks to that one chunky big neck jewellery piece.

Another beauty in a saree was Jacqueline Fernandez. The sarees colour was my favourite part about the outfit. Uber sexy, yet sweet overall, it’s the perfect trousseau piece to own this festive season.

Feather Lehenga by Falguni & Shane Peacock

So this was not really a Diwali party-party look. But the lehenga was so pretty, I thought let me just add this one to the list too. Some time back, I had a chance to look through Falguni & Shane Peacocks bridal collection, and I have been in love ever since. If you are looking for delicate sequins and embroidery work with lots of feathers and ruffles, they are the designer to go for. The only problem. Outfits are very very expensive! Think minimum INR 3 Lakh plus.

Bollywood Celebrity Diwali Looks – Favourite Black Lehengas

Suhana Khan’s Outfit – Monisha Jaising Couture, Gauri Khan in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

If you are aiming for the sexy vibe this season, then go for something like Suhana Khan’s fusion saree look. One of my top favourite Bollywood Celebrity Diwali Looks this season. The heavy detailing on the saree, with the cut outs on the side. So so sexy.

Fusion Lehenga by Kresha Bajaj

Lehenga by Shyamal & Bhumika

Velvets and blacks. Two things that go perfectly in sync for winter weddings. If you have harsh winters in your city, choose heavier fabrics to wear like velvets. They are trending and look really rich especially for lehengas.

Favourite Bollywood Celebrity Diwali Looks – Upcoming Stars

Beige Lehenga – Sabyasachi, Red Sharara – Manish Malhotra (Price – INR 1,75,000), Lehenga – Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

The young cutesy Ananya Pandey wore some pretty colourful outfits for the festive season. All three outfits are gorgeous for sister of the bride looks if you are looking for some inspiration.

Which one of these Bollywood celebrity kids are you most interested to see on the big screen?
