Shaina Narang's Big Fat Indian Wedding

Seeing real brides have their dream fairytale wedding is probably the best thing about my work. You all know the struggle behind planning your own wedding. It’s a mammoth task. So when you see a wedding that is beautifully done up, and more so with the help of the bride and groom themselves, ones got to share it. Shaina Narang’s Big Fat Indian Wedding is something like that. Planned entirely by the bride and groom, it’s their fantasy dream wedding.

Bhanu and I know each other since childhood. We both planned our wedding and made extra efforts to handpick almost everything. Our wedding was placed at outskirts of Chandigarh. I chose a lehenga with the peacocks embellished all over beautifully. Plus, I opted the customized kaleere for my big day, The Baarati Kaleere. They used the hashtag #shabh for Shaina & Bhanu for their wedding.

I wanted to wear something different yet classy, so I chose a lehenga with intricate multicolour work of peacocks embellished beautifully. Kaleere are always a charm for every bride, so I opted for the customized Baarati Kaleere for my big day. Before finalizing my outfits i did a lot n lot of research. Most of my wedding shopping was a mix from Chandigarh and Delhi. And I would like to recommend the fellow brides that to make a budget is the first thing as there is tons of variety waiting for you out there, so just keep your mind clear for what kind of attire you want and under what budget, you’ll always get something you desire for.

Brides outfits were from Aliyana- Chandigarh and Frontier Raas
Groom’s outfit from – Diwan Saheb and Groom Studio

Our wedding was placed at the outskirts of The Dream City of India- Chandigarh. We took our holy vows along the crimson sky and moonlit stars with mountains as our guardians at the Redwood Resort, Morni Hills. Instead of hashtag in our wedding we chose a poster picture of ours with the tagline “Once Upon A Time”. More like a fairyland, the décor was full of glam, flowers and glitters with a pinch of blue and white.
