Diipa Khosla's Wedding Pictures

This past week or two has seen one of the biggest fairytale Indian Weddings of a celeb blogger. For those of you unaware, international celebrity Indian origin blogger Diipa Khosla got married in Udaipur last week. Diipa Khosla’s Wedding Pictures and videos have been circulating on Instagram and YouTube this whole month, and I have been hooked on ever since.

Being a wedding blogger, seeing wedding photos and videos is part and parcel of what I do. But rarely do I sit through long tiring wedding videos. Not ever. I mean, I haven’t sat through my wedding video once till date. But in case of Diipa Khosla’s Wedding Pictures, I just wanted to see more and more. By the end of watching her wedding videos, it almost felt as though I was a tiny part of her wedding. Crying and smiling with the bride.

You will too 🙂

To begin with, love stories be it any kind is always such a joy to see. Weddings are all about sharing the love, happiness with all your family and friends, and this wedding did just that. It was big and fat in the real sense. Every time the bride showed up with a new outfit, in my head I kept doing khaching-khaching. Don’t blame me. Budget wedding blogger can do that to you sometimes.

Diipa Khosla I think changed close to 8-10 outfits throughout her three day Udaipur wedding extravaganza. Everyone from A list designers like Sabyasachi, Anamika Khanna, Mani Jassal, Ritu Kumar were part of her wedding outfit series. I bet you might have come across some of her pictures on Instagram. In case you have missed Diipa Khosla’s Wedding Pictures, here’s the complete list that is released online.

First Wedding Function – Mehendi

For her mehendi, Diipa Khosla wore a beautiful simple hand painted Sabyasachi saree. You have seen this saree before? I have mentioned what this ivory floral hand painted Sabyasachi saree costs. I never thought a simple saree can have such a beautiful effect for a mehendi outfit. She is a renowned fashion blogger after all. Her entire look was simple, elegant with a old school Bollywood glam hairstyle. Pretty stunning isn’t it.

Second Wedding Function – Haldi

Can we take a second to talk about the amazing wedding photography done by Zohaib Ali Photography. They are a UK based wedding photographers team who shot pretty much the whole wedding event of Diipa Khosla. I am absolutely in love with their work. The pictures look so real without too much distraction of colours, and yet everything is beautifully captured.

For her haldi, Diipa Khosla wore a beautiful beige embroidered Ritu Kumar lehenga which by the end of the function was completely smeared with haldi all over. I mean for a second I was cringing thinking can this gorgeous (read expensive) piece be even dry cleaned after something like this? Well, I guess that’s not the point of this wedding function. The bride and groom looked like they had a blast, and it shows on their faces.

P.S. I was searching for the same lehenga just to give you an idea of what it might cost. Ritu Kumar just disclosed the price on her Instagram. It costs a whopping INR 4,00,000!!! I am not kidding.

Third Wedding Function – Sangeet

Unfortunately, I think her wedding videos are not up on YouTube anymore. Once they come back, will add those links. What I loved about Diipa Khosla’s wedding functions was that in every function, there were friends and family talking about the couple. Good, bad, ugly, toasting them, making them laugh cry all at the same time. It seemed such a tight knight group the couple has. It was amazing to see the camaraderie they share with their near and dear.

Fourth Wedding Function – Chooda Ceremony

Personally, I loved the chooda ceremony look the most. It was fresh, new, elegant and yet demure in its overall look. The outfit entirely was by Mani Jassal, and you can buy this online through the designers website. The look without the dupatta costs close to INR 58k on the website. It’s quite similar to the floral hand-painted Sabyasachi lehengas that you see in the early 2018 collection. But this one is definitely much more affordable and looks fantastic!

If there is one signature bridal lehenga that defines Sabyasachi style, it’s got to be this. This particular lehenga is a hot favourite of brides since years, and every single time one sees it, it still mesmerises as much. Diipa Khosla’s Wedding Pictures with that deep maroon gold bridal lehenga looks absolutely stunning with her ivory colour dressed bridesmaids.

Seventh Wedding Function – European Ceremony

Now that’s what I call a princess worthy gown. The groom when he first saw Diipa in her wedding gown had tears in his eyes. I did too. She looked heavenly when she first walked down the isle. It was beautiful. I honestly can’t decide what I loved more. Her Indian ceremonies or the European one. Which one did you love more?
