Top Favourite Lakme Fashion Week 2018 Bridal Picks
If you are looking for traditional wear by designers, then Sanjukta Dutta is my recommendation for you. This is not the first time the designer has showcased beautiful Indian traditional outfits on the ramp. Back in 2017, Preity Zinta at LFW wore a gorgeous black and red saree by the designer which caught quite a few eyeballs. This time around, the mother-duo combination of Hema Malini and Esha Deol looked stunning in pure silk lehengas in traditional south Indian style.
Off late, a lot of brides are opting for pure silk lehengas instead of the popular chiffon and net-based outfits. If you’re one of them and are looking for unique traditional designers for your bridal wear, check out Sanjukta Dutta. I am not aware of her outfit prices, not even a slight bit of an idea, so in case any of you’ll know anything, do tell.
# Payal Singhal
The newest ‘it’ couple in town looked uber chic in their coordinated outfits. The collection titled ‘Muasir’ was dedicated to the new generation modern bride. The collection consisted of fusion ethnic wear to casual trendy lehengas.

While the lehengas on its own were so-so. What I loved about them was how they were accessorized with chunky jewellery. Imagine wearing oxidised chunky statement pieces with your lehenga. Pretty awesome isn’t it? Greys and deep blues are trending this season. They look great for the sister of the bride outfits, or even for occasional family weddings.
A favourite from this years fashion show. This gorgeous wine coloured embroidered lehenga is beautiful for your sibling’s wedding, or even as an engagement lehenga.
This times collection focussed on primarily two colour shades. Woody beige and absolute black. One can also see a lot of ombre shade outfits with mixed metals of gold and silver detailing in their collection. The collection is titled ‘Merlot Purple’.
It’s always a joy to see Dia Mirza on the ramp. This time too, the pretty lady looked uber cute in her designer lehenga. The style of the dupatta drape and the overall outfit itself is pretty for a family wedding. If you are a chaachi, mami, or the mother of the bride, this lehenga would look great on you.
# Gaurav Katta
How cool is this asymmetric lehenga for a showstopper sister of the bride look? If you are a bride yourself and are willing to show some legs, this look is gorgeous for a cocktail or sangeet night as well.
# Julie Shah
# Disha Patil
You got to love the new trending dupatta on sleeves look. Maybe its Diana Penty making the outfit look that stunning, but I think it just is pretty, isn’t it? Wear it to your engagement, cocktail, sangeet or even for a fuss-free mehendi function. All these new designers have got to get bookmarked by all your brides.
