I have always had my eyes and ears open for Reynu Taandon. Ever since her last years collection at ICW, I have been a fan. Its not often that you see one of kind bridal pieces, where every single outfit is spectacular. Sure, you have all the major A list designers, who pretty much do the same. It’s the slightly lesser known names that excite me more.
This year, Reynu Taandon’s collection named Cyan by Reynu is inspired by peacocks. The collection had beautiful shades of blue and greens and an occasional combination with white making it every bit exquisite. You have got to check out the 15 minute ramp show to know just how stunning her collection truly was.
Inspired by the vintage palace feels and seamless craft and class, #CyanbyReynu creations are those priceless possessions that the bride can treasure for years to come.
From gold foil hand printing to mirror work on handloom in chanderi fabric, the dreamy eyed collection beautifully showcased the various shades of the Indian peacock.
This was one fashion show that I didn’t want to miss. It’s a tad bit frustrating that I couldn’t be a part of it. I sent out emails, followed up through phone calls, etc etc…but alas, some things just don’t work out at times. But thankfully, FDCI has uploaded the video of the evening, and it pretty much brings all the designers outfits to life.
Its going to be really interesting to see how real brides look at this colour palette. So far, I haven’t seen too many brides donning a Reynu Taandon but I am really hoping that, that changes.
And, the showstopper look
What do you think about the collection?
