I know I have been MIA for the past few days. To be honest, there is just so much going on with the blog, and life in general. I’m trying to play catch up ever since. But, I am so grateful to you guys for loving the blog so much…I just love reading your emails and comments on social media. It really makes my day. Thank you for all of it.
Ok, so now coming back to this post. Even though I wasn’t able to spend time on the blog per say, I had my phone next to me 24/7. That’s when I came across Karishma and Ashish’s wedding photos. I follow Dream Diaries quite religiously. They are one of my favourite wedding photographers, and every time they upload a new wedding album, I am the first to go check it out.
This time was no different. I just fell in love with this couples wedding. There were so many elements that were out of the world gorgeous, and I felt I should share it with you all. So here you go:
#1 The unconventional stage decor
Its almost like a cherry blossom behind the bride and groom. I just fell in love when I saw their jai mala stage decor. So different, so unique, so beautiful. Bonus points for the bride and grooms attire and the bridesmaids too. Given the pop of colour of the stage, it was a brilliant choice to go with pastels as their outfit colours.
#2 The pataka dulhans shoes
Its all in the details. Why go for an ordinary vintage wedding footwear when you can have some pataka shoes instead? Love this idea and I mean who doesn’t love a one of a kind customised shoes. Totally pinterest worthy.
#3 Coordinated guests pool party outfits
This gang really had a blast at this wedding. It shows on all their faces just how much fun they had at that moment. I love how beautifully the pictures have been captured with the pool and the resort trees in the background. Looks like one hell of a party.
#4 Pastels is the king of summer
Teal is the new in colour for grooms wear this season. Keep the darker colours as option for evening wear, and don something light and fresh for your day wedding just like Karishma and Ashish.
#5 The brides’ White Pink Phoolon ki Chaadar
Whoever said subtle is beautiful really knew what they were talking about. Has it ever happened to you, that when you see someones wedding pictures, you are talking about the designer outfit, and all other things other than the bride herself. Happens to the best of us. I am guilty too.
When I saw this wedding, throughout the pictures, the one thought that stuck in my mind was that my eyes were always first on the bride. Every other detail of the wedding was a beautiful add on.
This simple white rajnigandha and pink rose themed wedding is an amazing colour scheme to have for summer day weddings.
#6 The brides minimalist hairstyle & makeup
Just because you’re paying tons of cash to your MUA & hairstylist, doesn’t mean they have to cake you up in all the products they own. Especially when it is a summer day time wedding, its soothing to the eyes of others as well, when they see brides looking their natural best. I just loved the no fuss hair and makeup of Karishma. What do you feel?
#7 Resort Wedding = Stunning Pool Pics
Just look at the pop of colours in these pool pictures. If not wedding, you should definitely pick up a pool side venue for your prewedding pictures this season.
