I get it, I get it. Looking at gorgeous lehengas by designers is one thing, but when it comes down to actual purchasing, its a whole different story. We all have our budget when it comes to buying ethnic wear. Lets face it, it doesn’t come cheap, and thus knowing all the options is that much more important. Priti Sahni is one designer that you should keep in mind, when you’re looking for those budget mid range buys.
I came across Priti Sahni designs by chance. It was a casual browsing session when I came across this gorgeous lehenga, and I was like..wow whose design is this… After a few clicks here and there, I knew I had to get in touch with the designer. You see, Priti Sahni has her official website where you can buy her products from, and I happen to glance through the price points her outfits were priced at.
I was pleasantly surprised. At Frugal2Fab, I am constantly searching for budget buys, and you guys keep asking me to refer you to new awesome designers. Well you’re going to love this one.
Who is Priti Sahni?
Priti Sahni is an alumnus of the prestigious National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad (India).
The passion of designing has made Priti take quite a few interesting turns in life. She was an engineer who worked in the advanced field of data analytics; however she quit her cushy corporate job to pursue her dreams of becoming a designer.
Priti launched her label in the year 2011 and in a very short span she has become the flag bearer for Indian craft and hand embroideries. Her forte has been interesting mix of colors, fabrics that take shape of the most beautiful sarees and lehengas.
The label retails at upscale multi-designer boutiques across India and overseas. Priti also designs customized ‘Bridal Wear’ and ‘Indian Wear’ from her design studio in Mumbai and also serves to clients across India and overseas.
What are the different outfit styles in her collection?
Her label is primarily into 3 outfit styles. Lehengas, Sarees, and Indo-Western. You will find everything from casual ethnic wear to heavy bridal wear in her collection as well. My favourites are the mid range lehengas and sarees which are perfect for sister of the bride, or prewedding functions, even for wedding guest outfit looks.
Her designs are such that they will always be in fashion, you can reuse by mix and matching them with your other outfits. The dupatta can be worn with other Indian outfits, ditto with the off shoulder crop tops and so on.
Tired of looking at bridal lehengas exorbitant prices? How about wearing one hell of stunning saree on your wedding instead?
You can buy Priti Sahni outfits through multiple options, both online and through in-store.
