Ivory whites and pastel shades ruled the fashion week this time. Some of the major designers from Anita Dongre to Tarun Tahiliani showcased beautiful creations in pristine whites and ivory shades. Wedding guest outfits styles is something I have always struggled with. Its not so much the styles, but the price tag that comes with the newest fashion. Its sometimes absurd.
But alas, it is how it is. But its always good to be updated with the latest trends in town. This weeks LFW had quite a few pieces that were totally eye catchy at first glance and I wanted to share it with you all. Let me know which ones are your favorite.

I loved loved the sleeves on this one. Ever since missstylefiesta has ditched her dupatta in her sangeet look, I have been smitten by this kind of a outfit style. Its such a cool alternative to the traditional dupatta look, perfect if you have singing and dancing planned out for the event.

Nothing less is ever expected from the house of Anita Dongre, and this time around too she did a fabulous job. Her collection was the grand finale show on day 5 and every single outfit was worthy a mention. I don’t think anyone captures simplicity in a look better than she does. The outfits look stunning, and I honestly can’t pick a favorite.

My favorite in the entire fashion week. There is something that is so attractive about this lehenga. Different from the other styles, the color, the blouse style, I would kill to wear this outfit. The designer has captured the perfect balance between the bold and nude shade and the model looks just stunning in it. What say?

From pista green, mustard, sea green LFW 2017 sure had some new shades that designers experimented with. Its always good to see these options specially when they actually manage to please the eyes. Normally, weddings are so much into the usual pinks, orange, blue, reds that seeing something this different I sure hope it picks up in the coming season.

I am usually not a fan of the (whatever this shade is called)…my sis in law recently wore the same shade Astha Narang on her sisters wedding, and although the lehenga was stunning, the color sure is dull as hell. No offense. Still, somehow in the images, it does look good doesn’t it? Tell me if you love this shade as much?
