Day 3 was super awesome guys. I ended up loving entire collections by some designers. That’s not very common. But overall, Day 3: Amazon India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017 looked much better than day 1 and day 2.
If you are someone who wears black pretty much every season, then her collection would really appeal to you. Her collection was so versatile, and had brilliant all season options out there. The colour palette had soothing earthy tones using Indian hand dyed techniques and embroideries. It is a mix of white, grey, beige, dip dyed blacks and reds with fun exotic prints.
I was kind of surprised, a few websites called her collection ‘borderline boring’ but you decide…I think the collection was pretty awesome.
Which outfit was your favorite from the designer’s collection?
Their collection was more into metallic + shiny overall look. Not my taste. It was head to tow silver in some outfits. Loud style. This was basically the closing show on Day 3. However, I loved the subtle color palettes used in some of their outfits. I loved every outfit wherever the color scheme was lilac, deep rose or ice blue. They were gorgeous. Asymmetric cuts, edgy folds, embellished kurtis, shoulder cutouts were the highlights in their outfit styles.

Loved her collection. It was a complete spring summer mixed with Goan vibes collection. Very wearable, very comfortable in its look. I loved the floral prints. The collection was a combination of soft fabric and pastel shades of pale blue and pink, with white lotuses and leafy greens put together on yellow and orange fabrics with hints of sparkle.
The most comfortable summer fashion award goes to this designer. At least from my side. Her all white short dresses and skirts were such a dream to look at. Very effortless chic looks. Inspired by the 15th century Iznik Pottery a decorated ceramic from the Turkish lands, Kavita Bhartia presented Route’D Iznik in her SS’17 collection.
Ruffles, ruffles all the way through summer. Their outfits were so playful, fun to look at…I wouldn’t say completely wearable. Although one or two outfits I totally loved. Especially the ones which had not gone all out crazy ruffles, you know what I mean.
Their collection time and again has always had an international appeal of sorts, and makes sense…they have dressed loads of hollywood celebrities.
I loved her collection. The fun prints, the bright colors…there was a lot of variety in that one collection. I especially loved the flowy capes. There are so in fashion this year, and from the looks of it…are going to continue till next year summer. A complete Goan beach collection for me.
