This is the last post in the series of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016. I know it has taken the entire blog page, but what to do. There were so many stunning options as far as wedding wear goes, I just couldn’t resist. While heavy duty lehengas are a once or twice in a lifetime investment….casual lehengas on the other hand are perfect for multi-purpose use, from your own mehendi-sangeet function to sister of the bride outfit to even wearing it to one of your best friends wedding.
Its easy on the pocket, and reusable which makes it so attractive. So getting your hands on that one stunning piece is well worth the money. No, I won’t say designer piece if you can’t afford it…but you get the idea right…get something similar.
OUR TOP PICKS
THE FLORAL FANTASY POOF’ED UP LEHENGA SKIRTS
Manish Malhotra hands down aced the fashion week, with every single outfit of his collection hitting all the right points. His outfits had elegance, drama, and lots of fabric. It was gorgeous. I love how simple these are when you look at it in detail, but can easily be one statement outfit piece to own.
THE FUSION LEHENGA SKIRTS
Just the skirts, not the top. I don’t think I am that fashion forward yet, and while many might love the idea of wearing a collared shirt with a lehenga skirt, I would much rather stick to the traditional style. Nevertheless, some gorgeous pieces to look at. Have a look.
POWDER PINK LEHENGA LOVE
Love the cape style on this outfit. Completely fuss free, and looks so so cute, doesn’t it? My personal favorite in this entire post…I think this outfit is so versatile to wear on any traditional occasions..guaranteed to look like a fairy in this one.
The color is here to stay. Designer Divya Sheth showed us just how to mix this color in any part of the outfit, and to still manage that magical look in total. Do you want a powder pink skirt or dupatta or the jacket…your pick !
