From the past few days, I am noticing new designers and awesome bridal outfits all over Instagram. All were unknown designer names but the designs were outstanding. One after the other every single piece was breathtakingly beautiful. That’s when I started paying some attention to it and I saw all these bridal outfits were from the Pakistani Fashion Week that’s currently going on.
Normally if you ask anyone about bridal designers, names like Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra and even new names like Anushree Reddy, Ridhi Mehra etc will be like at the tip of our tongues, but what is interesting is how little you would be knowing about Pakistani designers, and let me tell you, there are quite a few worthy names to know of.
The (Pakistan Fashion Design Council) PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week 2015 is presently going on in Lahore and is ending today, 18th September 2015. As I was browsing through the tens and hundreds of pictures flashing on my screen, I came across some of the designs from the Fashion Week collection from last year. I spent the next one hour or more browsing through each and every designers work and that’s when I thought let me share those here with you, because let me tell you….some of these outfits are nothing short of a dream to look at.
Also, I promise in the next few days or so, I will share the post on this years Pakistan Fashion Week collection, but till then enjoy the beauty from last year 🙂 There are quite a few Bridal worthy outfits.
I am sure you will love this as much as I did !
ASIFA & NABEEL
What I loved about this collection is that you will see, every single piece is wearable for everybody. Be it the saree, or the suit sets, they look so simple and elegant, don’t you think?
Every single piece from this designers collection is outstanding. So different from what we normally get to see in the Indian fashion shows. I can’t help it, I just have to share all the outfits with you 🙂
This designer goes in my absolute favorite list. How I wish I could wear these designs and feel ekdum princess like. From shararas to jacket lehenga style, sarees, suit sets and anarkalis, this designer has covered everything in one collection. There is something for everybody here.
I am currently totally crushing on wearing shararas. Just don’t know where to find one. And the ones below are just so dream like.
Tell me which one is your favorite?
I am totally making a note of all these designers. So much talent. Its almost like stumbling upon a treasure box. I am a sucker for flared lehengas, I don’t know why but I feel every bride should go for as much flare as possible, it just instantly makes you feel so princess like be it in any color or design.
Fashion shows are always wonderful to look at, but somewhere there is always that gap between can we wear this vs. good for models to wear only. What I loved about this collection was the outfits had a bridge between demure yet modern young beauty. Take a look.
I found her collection to be for the fashion forward women. One who love experimenting with fabrics and designs and mix it up and wear something totally unthinkable yet uber fashionable. Nonetheless what I loved in her collection was the use of prints and color combinations, it made me think why can’t I experiment with my dressing sense a bit.
One of the prettiest of the collections I have ever seen in a fashion show, both in outfits as well as the models. And here I thought Fawad Khan and Ali Zafar were the only stunning ones from our neighbor country, but just look at some of these models..*heart skips a beat*
Ok, I think she is my favorite designer from the entire lot. It feels like a kid just went to candy land, all these pictures…every designer is such a find. I am just falling in love with this designers collection. How I wish I could have some of these pieces for myself. Ok, one slap dream over…lets take a look at the gorgeous collection.
The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this collection was, do the male models come along with the outfits 😛 The collection was so beautifully presented, in coordination…for all those who get super confused (me included) about if I wear this, what should the boy wear? Then this collection was the solution to that very question. Take a look…
The collection was all about whites and blues, and no matter how many designs you see…its still not enough. The collection reminds me of how royals would dress up like. Even though its not opulent, it gives radiates such positiveness just by looking at these.
Gorgeous defines this collection. Be it sarees or bridal lehengas, or fusion indian wear this collection was stunning. I initially thought I will just put 2-3 outfits from their collection, but as I sat to browse, I started saving every single picture. I love the colors used and the extensive sequins work is giving the right amount of bridal feel to the outfits.
And now for the best of the rest…
